The blend is Alibernet, St. Laurent, and Blauer Portugieser. However, the Alibernet, a cross of Alicante Bouchet and Cabernet Sauvignon, is pressed off the skins immediately and thus treated more like a white wine that is then blended with the red wine made of the other two varieties. The result is a lighter red, well served by a decent chill. Bright and fresh with amazing berry tones.
