Planted in the 1920s, these are the oldest vines in the Lucien Muzard collection.From nearly 100 year old vines, this Chassagne Rouge is bright, succulent and dominated by red fruits. A lovely wine that truly overdelivers. Pinot Noir is destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in tank. Aged in barrel, of which a max of 10% is new.
Aromas of ripe berries, musky spices, rich soil and dark chocolate, followed by a medium to full bodied, fleshy and ample palate that's framed by powdery tannins and juicy acids, concluding with a delicately herbal-inflected finish
