'Oka' is the name of and a tribute to the family's plow horse, a trustworthy and essential member of the Arlaud biodynamic team. In the cellar, intervention is kept to an absolute minimum. Arlaud's cellar is one of the coldest in the Côtes de Nuits, helping Arlaud pursue a slow, non-interventionist vinification, with minimal use of SO2. All of his wines are also bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Oka is an elegant wine with aromas of fresh summer berries, light pepper, warm earth. Lively and bright, with moderate tannins.
