Made from the appassimento method of carefully selected Chiavanesca (Nebbiolo) in the Valtellina Superiore zone, racked for 6 months, allowing the grapes to get a higher concentration of natural sugars and particular aromas. The color is an intense ruby red with a perfumed, smokey nose, ethereal and complex of violets and blackberry jam, while on the palate a rich, lingering taste, very persistent with a velvety structure.
